CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN:
We've just launched a crowdfunding campaign, hoping to raise £25,000 to have a commemorative statue made for Ashley Park, Walton-on-Thames as a permanent reminder that this is the site of the first recorded baseball game in history, played in 1749. Walton Cricket Club in Ashley Park - where the first ever documented game of baseball was played by the Prince of Wales in 1749 - is getting a Blue Plaque. To celebrate this momentous occasion Walton Cricket Club, WoTTA and BaseballSoftballUK are organising a day to remember!
