May Day is celebrated in Walton-on-Thames thanks to Riverhouse Barn. They put on an amazing May Fair and in 2017 launched the May Fair Parade - starting at Cowey Sale and ending at the Barn.

WoTTA works with them to make sure this event happens!

Timing: 11am-4pm

Everyone welcome to gather in your floral clothes or bonnets and join a parade with children from local schools, carrying the May Cones they made in a workshop funded by Walton Charity, and enjoy a 10 minute stroll to Riverhouse Barn...
At Riverhouse Barn
The parade will come along the river's edge, along Walton Wharf to the Riverhouse Barn where a May Day Craft Fair will be running from 11am to 4pm. Performances will then occur during the day and feature performers such as Quick Fix Theatre, St Lawrence School May Pole Dancers, Young Musicians from RefuAid's Open Mic series and, of course, the Thames Valley Morris Men!
