Festival of Lights 2020 - our flagship event!
We've thought up some fun ideas to keep the family entertained during the Festive Season.

SANTA SEARCH

Our Santa Search requires a keen eye.

Before you go into town, download and print the entry form below, or pick up a hardcopy in the James Neave offices on the High Street.

When you
spot a Santa Hat sticker in the window of a shop it means there's a Santa hidden inside (or somewhere else in the window), with a unique number on it. Find the sticker and then write the name of the shop in the corresponding numbered space on the entry form.

When you have completed our Santa Search, please put your form into the special post box in James Neave offices at 38 High Street, Walton-on-Thames KT12 1DE.

Just after Christmas a draw from all the completed forms will decide the winner! Whoever it is will receive a shopping voucher for a whopping £100!  Good luck.

BEST DRESSED CHRISTMAS WINDOW COMPETITION
Running from December 5th to 24th

Launched in 2016, the Christmas Window Competition has gone from strength to strength, growing so that now over 30 windows get involved, with fun displays to brighten up the town for Christmas. First prize of a £100 voucher and second prize of a treatment at Rush Hair salon are awarded. Previous winners are below. Any shop front in the KT12 postcode can enter. Good luck!

Voting has now closed. After Christmas, we will announce the result.

This competition is named in memory of the amazing Sarah-Jane Shellard who began Walton's Christmas Festival of Lights all those years ago, and ran it for 12 years. Without her, we would have no Festival, so it's a lovely way to remember her every year.

Previous Winners
2019 - Princess Alice Furniture Shop
2018 - Escape Hair & Beauty
2017 - Click, Save & Print
2016 - Princess Alice Hospice Shop

Our gallery of shop windows shows the creativity of traders in the KT12 area. .

SANTA's GIFT OF GIVING
Ask your children to help Santa make sure everyone has a great Christmas.

Donate a food item into Santa’s Sack inside James Neave’s offices at 38 High Street!

We are working in conjunction with the Walton & Hersham Foodbank to spread some festive cheer to those in need. Thank you in advance for your help.

DECORATED CHRISTMAS TREES
New for 2020. As you explore our town centre shopping area, please look out in shop windows for Christmas trees specially decorated by pupils from our local schools.

Thank you to pupils and staff of these schools who have worked hard to prepare the displays:
Ashley CofE Primary School, Walton Oak Primary School, Walton Leigh School.

WoTTA's Steering Committee wish you and your family a safe and Happy Christmas.
We hope to be back with a full Christmas Festival of Lights in 2021.
