Help out at the Festival of Light - We can't do it without you!
CALLING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
Our biggest concern with the Festival is safety; of our participants and spectators. To ensure the best possible day for everyone we need a lot of volunteer marshalls to comply with the requirements set out to us by the council and the police. If we can't meet these requirements, the concern is that we will not be allowed to continue with the Festival. This year it's being held on Saturday November 23rd.
So we're asking for your help as a volunteer! What we need:

So we're asking for your help as a volunteer! What we need:
MARSHALLS - to be positioned along the route of the parade to maintain crowd safety (best view of the parade in town!)
CARRIERS - to be part of the parade by supporting a large structure lantern in a harness (so you need to be relatively strong)
CHAPERONES - to work alongside the Carriers, guiding the big structures as some are quite tall/cumbersome!
If you can help, we would need a commitment from 16:30-18:30 on Saturday 23rd November.
