WoTTA meets Voluntary Action Elmbridge - April 2017
Joanna Gordon met recently with Claire Dewsbury of Voluntary Action Elmbridge. The organisation offers an online system where anyone looking for volunteer assistance, or anyone wanting to volunteer, can get connected - all via the website do-it.org
Joanna explained about all the volunteer roles available in Walton - from marshalling at a parade, to working on a committee organising a festival - and Claire demonstrated how to create an online account to get the word out to local people.
If you’re interested in volunteering in any capacity within Elmbridge, check out the VAE or the Do-it.org websites to see what’s on offer. If you’re an organisation or community group with volunteer roles you need to fill, contact Claire using the email: [email protected] and she’ll meet you to chat about your requirements.
If you’re interested in volunteering with WoTTA, check out do.org and search for volunteering opportunities near the centre of Walton, or check out a brief summary on our website: VOLUNTEERING.
